Thymagen — EU research guide.
Thymagen is a synthetic dipeptide (Glu-Trp, also referenced as Oglufanide) from the Khavinson bioregulator series, proposed to modulate immune cell cyclic nucleotide signalling and T-cell regulation. It is the simpler two-amino-acid counterpart to Thymalin, the natural thymic tissue complex PeptideCompare already tracks.

What does the research show?
Published research describes immune-modulatory effects in animal models and small cohort studies, mostly from the originating Eastern European research group. Independent Western replication is limited as of mid-2026.
EU legal status
Not approved as a medicine anywhere in the EU. Available from a small number of specialist research vendors for laboratory immunology research only.
