Why PeptideCompare exists
Researchers in Europe had no independent source of information about peptide suppliers. Every site that "compared" was built by a supplier themselves. The suppliers doing the right thing — investing in real lab testing, being transparent about their products — had no way to stand out.
PeptideCompare was built to change that. As a non-profit, independent initiative, every supplier is ordered from anonymously, COA documents are reviewed from accredited labs, and results are published openly. The goal is simple: help quality rise to the top, and give researchers the clarity they deserve. A platform where doing the right thing actually pays off.
Four levels of certainty
An anonymous real order is placed. Delivery time, packaging, labelling, customer care and invoice details are independently reviewed. Earned — never purchased.
A lab document from an accredited independent lab is reviewed. Purity %, value (mg) and batch date are verified. A COA older than 12 months counts as expired.
This exact product and batch are independently reviewed for reconstitution behaviour, appearance, and 30-day refrigerated stability. Our highest trust level — currently limited to select products.
Awarded to suppliers who publish batch-specific COAs covering the full analytical panel via an accredited independent lab (Liquilabs or equivalent): identity (HPLC + MS), purity ≥99.8%, assay content (mg), endotoxins (<0.001 EU/mg), microbial safety, and 7 heavy metals (As, Cd, Co, Pb, Ni, Hg, V). Not self-reported — independently cross-referenced per batch.
