PT-141 (bremelanotide) is a cyclic heptapeptide derived from Melanotan-2 that selectively activates melanocortin receptors MC3R and MC4R in the CNS to produce.exual arousal responses. It is FDA-approved as Vyleesi for hypoactive sexual desire disorder in women.
